Great news! Wooroora Station / Chalumbin wind farm FNQ withdrawn by Ark Energy on 19th April, 2024

We’re thrilled that Environment Minister Tanya Plibersek’s decision to propose a rejection of the Wooroora Station / Ark Energy wind farm has warranted Ark Energy’s Wooroora Station / Chalumbin wind farm be withdrawn.

This is a win for nature and the threatened wildlife that inhabits the site.

We hope now that the forests of Wooroora station will be left intact into the future.
